Kia Ora e te Whanau,
Thank you to all the families that have returned the Decile
Review Survey. As Kelvin Mason (Board Chair) expressed, “The
Board of Trustees are working through the process of seeking a
reassessment to improve the level of funding the school
receives.” We have had 63 forms returned from our 77 families.
We have been fortunate to have received a grant from the New
Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) to assist in paying for the
transport to winter weekly sports. NZCT contributed $695.64 to
the cost of the transport and the rugby team received funding
from The Mainland Foundation towards there transport cost.
Mathematics Parent Survey: I have been seeking feedback from
our Year 4-6 students regarding their learning in Mathematics
and would also like to seek feedback from our parent community
regarding the teaching and learning in Mathematics. The survey
seeks feedback about your interest in Maths, the teaching and
learning and our next steps. If your answers differ for your
children, you can complete the survey more than once. The link
is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8PCFDNG
I would like to remind our school community that if your
child/ren are presenting signs of being unwell (runny nose,
coughing, sneezing etc), please keep them at home. Please
remember that if your child is not attending school contact the office either by phone or email.
Please download the Skool Loop App and Like and Follow the School Facebook Page.
Kind regards,
Abraham Atherton (Principal – Tumuaki)
