Kia Ora e te Whanau,
This Sunday, the school will be leading the 9:30am Mass at
Holy Trinity, Bryndwr. As a school of Catholic Special
Character, we have one Sunday Mass a term and it is
expected that the children will attend with their families.
The PTA will be running a Cake Stall after the Mass. We ask
all families to support the PTA by bringing baking or a cake
to be sold at the Cake Stall. Further information can be
found in the newsletter.
On Sunday 23 February, many students from St Albans
Catholic School participated in the Weetbix Tryathlon at
Jellie Park. Congratulations to the students who competed,
and their families who supported them at the event. St
Albans Catholic School won a prize for having the highest
percentage participating with 16 percent. Well done to all
the students who participated.
It has been great to see all the children wearing their school
hats during morning tea and the lunchtime breaks. A
visiting Principal commented about how they were impressed
with the students all wearing hats. Thank you for
supporting the school with ensuring all children have hats.
Nga mihi nui,
Abraham Atherton
